Synvo AI Raises US$1 Million to Give Enterprise AI a Memory

Singapore-based deep-tech startup Synvo AI has announced a significant milestone, securing US$1 million in seed funding from Fuel Ventures Asia. This investment is poised to propel the commercialization of the company's innovative Enterprise Memory Layer, a technology designed to fundamentally change how businesses leverage artificial intelligence. The funding will also be used to expand Synvo AI's engineering capabilities and support its growing number of enterprise AI deployments across the Asian market. Synvo AI, which originated as a spinout from the MMLab at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), is tackling a core limitation in current enterprise AI applications: the absence of institutional memory. Traditional AI systems often operate in a stateless manner, treating each interaction as a new task without retaining organizational context or accumulated knowledge. Synvo AI's proprietary technology aims to solve this by providing AI systems and agents with the ability to securely capture, retain, and apply an organization's collective intelligence. The Enterprise Memory Layer allows AI to process and recall information from diverse sources, including documents, emails, video, audio, and various business data. A key feature of this solution is its design for on-premises and on-device deployment. This architecture is critical for enterprises handling sensitive information, as it ensures that data remains within the organization's controlled environments, thereby upholding stringent standards for data privacy, security, governance, and sovereignty. The practical benefits of this technology are already evident. A Singapore-based manufacturer, for instance, dramatically reduced its quotation generation workflow time from 45 minutes to less than 5 minutes by integrating Synvo AI's solution. This single deployment resulted in an estimated annual productivity saving of SGD 120,000 and freed up approximately 200 hours of sales capacity each month. Such results underscore the potential for significant operational efficiencies and cost reductions that a robust "memory" can bring to enterprise AI. According to Synvo AI, by giving AI an institutional memory, the system accumulates value over time, becoming more relevant, consistent, and useful with prolonged use. This transforms AI from a mere daily tool into a trusted enterprise asset that preserves and compounds organizational knowledge while maintaining full control over sensitive data. The company is actively pursuing multiple enterprise opportunities across Southeast Asia, including a strategic partnership with Indonesia-based Sobat Bisnis Group (SBG), further expanding the reach of secure, privacy-first enterprise AI solutions in the region.
