Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-05-26
The service
merge.news is an AI-curated news platform covering cloud, DevOps, and AI. Articles are auto-generated by Google Gemini and cite their primary sources. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You can sign in with Google or email/password. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.
Acceptable use
- Don't try to break, probe, or rate-limit-abuse the service.
- Don't scrape the feed at scale. Public RSS-style endpoints, if added, will be documented.
- Don't impersonate other users.
- Admin features require explicit grant; unauthorized use is prohibited.
Subscriptions
Pro and Max are paid subscription tiers (USD) and are coming soon— they aren't available for purchase yet, and today the full product is free. When they launch, checkout and billing will be handled by our payment provider (Lemon Squeezy). You will be able to cancel at any time, with access continuing through the end of the billing period; refunds are at our discretion. Tier features and pricing may change with notice via this page or an in-app banner.
Content
Article summaries and long-form bodies are AI-generated and may contain errors. Always check the cited primary source before acting on technical claims. We don't guarantee accuracy, completeness, or timeliness.
Source links point to third-party sites whose content is owned by their respective publishers. merge.news doesn't claim ownership of underlying news facts; the layout, AI-generated summaries, and curation are © merge.news.
Advertising
Free-tier users see a single first-party promotional placement served by merge.news — our own offers or a direct sponsor. We don't currently use a third-party ad network. Pro and Max subscribers see no promotions.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may close your account at any time.
Changes
We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be flagged on this page; continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
