In response to these challenges, GIGATONS has forged a strategic global partnership with Schneider Electric, aiming to revolutionize the deployment of AI data centers through a self-powered model. GIGATONS' innovative approach centers around its proprietary GIGABLOCK energy platform, which will be integrated with Schneider Electric's extensive suite of solutions. The core of this strategy is the "GIGACENTER" concept, an integrated solution that combines a microgrid, an AI data center, and a water generation platform. This comprehensive design allows for the creation of self-powered AI campuses that are not reliant on traditional grid connections, thereby circumventing common delays associated with power infrastructure development.
The GIGACENTER model is engineered for rapid deployment, with a projected delivery timeline of just 12 months. This speed is crucial in meeting the escalating demand for AI compute capacity. The integrated platform incorporates solar energy generation and advanced energy storage systems to ensure a reliable and sustainable power supply. Furthermore, by including water infrastructure, the solution also addresses the substantial water requirements often associated with data center cooling.
GIGATONS is actively developing a pipeline of projects that will approach 1 gigawatt of AI compute capacity. Initial flagship projects are slated for Abu Dhabi and Australia, with the first phase in each market targeting approximately 100 MW of AI compute capacity, with further expansion planned.
