AWS BCM Launches Managed Dashboards to Automate FinOps Visibility and Eliminate Custom Setup

AWS rolled out Managed Dashboards within AWS Billing and Cost Management (BCM), delivering a suite of five preconfigured, read-only operational dashboards populated automatically with live account data across all commercial AWS regions at zero additional cost. The initial collection spans three core visibility tiers: a 12-month Cost Overview and Trends dashboard featuring forward-looking forecasts; domain-specific breakdowns for Compute and Database workloads; and dedicated monitoring views for Reservations and Savings Plans coverage and utilization. Users can immediately view these standard baselines or clone them with a single click into fully customizable, editable layouts. Building and maintaining cloud financial dashboards is notoriously labor-intensive.
