Samsung Unveils AI-Powered Teacher Tools for Global EdTech Market at ISTE Live 2026
Samsung Electronics made a significant move into the global smart education sector by unveiling a suite of new AI-powered tools at ISTE Live 2026, North America's premier edtech exhibition held in Orlando. The company's focus is on enhancing the functionality of its interactive whiteboards, providing educators with more intelligent and personalized teaching aids.
Central to this launch is the Samsung Account Management Solution (AMS), a cloud-based service designed to streamline the teaching experience. AMS allows individual teachers to manage their profiles and access their preferred screen layouts, application settings, and learning materials with ease. This is achieved through simple sign-in methods like scanning a QR code or tagging an NFC card, ensuring that a personalized user experience is maintained even when multiple educators share the same interactive whiteboard.
Complementing AMS is the new Samsung AI Assistant App, which is preinstalled on compatible interactive whiteboards. While specific functionalities were not fully detailed, its primary goal is to boost learning focus among students and expand overall educational accessibility through AI-driven assistance.
These software solutions are set to be rolled out via an update starting in July, making them available to existing Samsung interactive whiteboards running the Android operating system. Furthermore, the introduction of the 'Samsung Education Portal' provides IT administrators with a centralized platform to manage hundreds of devices and teacher accounts, simplifying the deployment and maintenance of these advanced educational tools across institutions. Samsung's strategy underscores a commitment to leveraging AI to create more tailored and efficient digital learning environments globally.
