Unlike many conventional data centers that consume vast quantities of water for evaporative cooling systems, Duos Edge AI's facilities rely on advanced air conditioning systems. Radford explained that while these systems pull humidity from the air, effectively generating water, the overall design supports a zero-water usage policy, with no water meter or pipes connected to the municipal water supply on site. This commitment to water conservation is a critical step towards more environmentally responsible digital infrastructure, particularly in regions prone to water scarcity. In addition to their water-free operation, the Duos Edge AI data centers are engineered for low energy consumption. Each facility has a maximum capacity of 200 kilowatts, an energy footprint roughly equivalent to that of a typical McDonald's restaurant.
