Infoblox Expands Universal Asset Insights to Deliver Infrastructure Intelligence for AgenticOps and Automation

Infoblox, a prominent leader in preemptive security and hybrid, multi-cloud networking solutions, has unveiled substantial enhancements to its Universal Asset Insights platform, transforming it into a comprehensive infrastructure intelligence solution. These updates are strategically designed to prepare organizations for the complexities of AI readiness by establishing a continuously validated and authoritative source of infrastructure truth. This foundational data is becoming increasingly critical as enterprises transition their AI initiatives from experimental pilot programs to full-scale agentic operations, where trusted and accurate information is paramount for success. The core of these advancements lies in the platform's expanded connectivity, now boasting over 40 new third-party API integrations. These integrations facilitate the continuous ingestion of diverse telemetry data, encompassing device, application, and security information from a wide array of platforms. This includes environments across cloud, traditional networking, security, endpoint management, IoT/OT, identity management, and collaboration tools. Key new integrations feature prominent platforms such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Juniper Mist, Nozomi Networks, Jamf Pro, Microsoft Intune, Qualys, and Okta. This extensive integration capability ensures that Universal Asset Insights can provide a holistic and up-to-date view of an organization's entire IT landscape. A significant development is the extension of Infoblox's existing integration with ServiceNow through a new Graph Connector. This advanced feature enables bidirectional CMDB synchronization, effectively bridging the often-present gap between the documented state of IT assets within ServiceNow and their actual, real-time operational status. Such synchronization is vital for ensuring the accurate and efficient execution of IT service management (ITSM) workflows, substantially reducing risks associated with changes, and providing a reliable data bedrock for both AI and automation initiatives. The goal is to move beyond static snapshots of infrastructure data, which can become stale quickly, towards a dynamic and continuously updated inventory. To further empower operational teams, the platform now includes custom dashboards, allowing NetOps, SecOps, CloudOps, and general IT teams to create highly tailored, role-specific views of infrastructure, risk, and operational data. This personalized visibility ensures that teams can focus on the information most pertinent to their responsibilities, improving efficiency and decision-making. Complementing this, a natural language query capability has been introduced, enabling any user to interrogate infrastructure data and generate operational reports using plain language. This innovation democratizes asset visibility, making it accessible across the entire organization without requiring specialized technical query skills.
