Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Object Storage has announced the general availability of public IPv6 dual-stack endpoints. This new feature allows clients to access OCI Object Storage from both IPv4 and IPv6 networks simultaneously. It's an opt-in capability, meaning existing IPv4-only endpoints continue to function without requiring immediate changes to current applications. The dual-stack endpoints return both IPv4 and IPv6 DNS records, facilitating a smoother transition for organizations adopting IPv6.
