Andreessen Horowitz Leads Netris' Series A to Accelerate GPU Network Automation and Multi-Tenancy for AI Clouds

Netris, a key player in network automation and multi-tenancy solutions tailored for AI infrastructure, has announced a significant milestone with the completion of its $15 million Series A funding round. The investment was spearheaded by prominent venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz, with partner Guido Appenzeller joining the Netris board. This capital injection is set to accelerate Netris' advancements in network automation specifically for GPU clusters, a burgeoning area driven by the global expansion of AI cloud operations. The company has demonstrated substantial growth, reporting an 800% increase in annual recurring revenue (ARR) over the past 12 months. This growth is underpinned by more than 35 live deployments of its technology across various AI cloud operators, including neoclouds, sovereign AI providers, and AI factories worldwide. Netris' global footprint extends with teams across the US, UK, Taiwan, Australia, Armenia, and India, with a new Singapore office slated for 2026. The core of Netris' offering is its NAAM platform, which stands for Network Automation, Abstraction, and Multi-Tenancy. This platform represents a new generation of network automation, evolving beyond traditional SDN and intent-based networking. It provides a singular control plane that spans multiple network fabrics, a necessity for complex GPU clusters that often utilize Ethernet, InfiniBand, and other specialized networking technologies simultaneously. Crucially, NAAM enforces hard multi-tenancy directly on networking hardware, preventing data leakage between tenants and allowing operators to securely share GPU resources. AI clusters present unique networking challenges that legacy approaches were not designed to handle. These environments require managing diverse network fabrics, each with its own control plane and operational semantics. Building in-house automation is time-consuming and often breaks with new architectural changes, while traditional controllers lack the multi-tenancy and cloud-provider functionalities essential for AI operations. Netris' platform addresses these issues by enabling rapid deployment of GPU clouds, instant tenant provisioning with automated isolation, and dynamic reallocation of capacity to maximize GPU utilization. Netris has also cultivated an extensive AI infrastructure ecosystem, collaborating with industry giants like Nvidia and other GPU and networking vendors. This ecosystem includes partnerships with compute and PaaS providers such as Mirantis, Rafay, Red Hat, Spectro Cloud, and vCluster, as well as AI platform providers like HPE. Within this collaborative framework, Netris serves as the foundational layer for network automation and multi-tenancy, collectively empowering operators to launch, manage, and monetize GPU clouds effectively.
