Oracle Strengthens Defense Ecosystem for Emerging Tech Companies

At the Oracle Defence Tech Summit 2026, Oracle officially unveiled the third cohort of its Defense Ecosystem, integrating 10 additional defense technology companies into the program. This strategic expansion is designed to bolster national security by accelerating the transition of innovative technologies from conceptual prototypes to operational mission impact for the United States and its allies. The newly added companies specialize in critical areas such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, secure communications, operational intelligence, autonomous systems, and mission support capabilities. The Oracle Defense Ecosystem serves as a crucial bridge, connecting Oracle's advanced distributed cloud and AI infrastructure with a growing network of these emerging defense technology firms. This collaboration aims to empower national security organizations to innovate more rapidly and securely. According to Rand Waldron, senior vice president at Oracle, the ecosystem provides a faster pathway for these companies to build solutions with Oracle, deploy them on sovereign cloud and AI infrastructure, and reach customers operating in highly demanding environments. To further enhance member advantages, Oracle has expanded the benefits available through the recently launched Defence Holdings accelerator initiative. Members of the Oracle Defense Ecosystem will receive priority access to the accelerator's application process, creating additional opportunities for companies developing cutting-edge technologies in fields like agentic AI, cognitive warfare, and critical national infrastructure protection. Furthermore, Oracle is enhancing its support through a dedicated enablement and innovation program in partnership with Shield Reply and Red Reply. This program will assist members in building, modernizing, securing, and operationalizing their solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle Roving Edge Infrastructure. These offerings include cloud and edge readiness assessments, sandbox environments, proof-of-concept development, architecture and migration services, and DevSecOps enablement, all provided at preferred rates. A testament to the program's effectiveness, existing ecosystem member Whitespace recently deployed its operational learning capability, Saga, on Oracle Roving Edge Devices. This deployment supported classified workloads for the Royal Navy during Operation HIGHMAST, enabling commanders to capture and apply vital lessons in challenging, disconnected environments and bringing sovereign AI capabilities directly to the mission edge. This initiative underscores Oracle's commitment to fostering innovation and delivering secure, mission-ready cloud and AI solutions for defense applications.
