Oracle Expands Defense Ecosystem To Deploy Mission-Ready AI
Oracle has announced a major expansion of its Defense Ecosystem, welcoming ten new emerging technology companies to its ranks. This strategic move, unveiled at the Oracle Defence Tech Summit 2026, is designed to expedite the development and deployment of mission-critical AI, cyber, and tactical edge tools for the US and its allies. The initiative underscores Oracle's commitment to bolstering national security by fostering innovation within the defense technology sector.
The expanded ecosystem is built upon collaborations with key partners including Defence Holdings, Shield Reply, and Red Reply. These partnerships are crucial for providing emerging defense tech companies with the necessary infrastructure and support to rapidly transition their solutions from conceptual prototypes to fully operational capabilities. The program aims to overcome traditional hurdles in defense technology adoption, ensuring that cutting-edge innovations reach the field faster and more securely.
The ten new companies joining the ecosystem bring diverse specializations, ranging from ruggedized power systems for drones (Chariot Defence) and modular platforms for military health (HPO Technologies) to secure AI workflow tools (Legion Intelligence) and AI-powered underwater robotics (Marlin Intelligence). Other additions include Quori, focusing on situational awareness AI; Resaro, specializing in AI testing and validation; Revobeam, developing anti-jamming technology; Tactiql, for tactical sensor data sharing; Two Delta, for automated AI model building; and Unplugged, providing privacy-focused mobile tech for secure communications.
Ecosystem members gain priority access to deploy their technologies across Oracle's robust cloud infrastructure, including public, sovereign, and edge cloud systems. This access is vital for developing solutions in advanced areas such as agentic AI, cognitive warfare, and autonomous systems. A notable success story involves existing member Whitespace, which successfully deployed its Saga learning tool on Oracle edge hardware for the Royal Navy during Operation HIGHMAST. This real-world application demonstrated the ability to capture and apply critical insights even in environments with limited or no network connectivity, bringing sovereign AI capabilities directly to the mission edge.
Furthermore, Red Reply is offering specialized support to these startups, including affordable packages, cloud readiness testing, and migration assistance. This comprehensive support system is intended to mitigate risks and streamline the deployment process, ensuring that these innovative defense technologies can be effectively integrated and utilized by military forces.
