OpenAI supplies ChatGPT Enterprise and Codex to Samsung Electronics globally

OpenAI has secured a major global deal with Samsung Electronics, announcing on June 22, 2026, that it will be supplying its advanced AI solutions, ChatGPT Enterprise and the "Codex" work automation platform, to the electronics giant. This deployment will cover Samsung's domestic workforce and extend to employees within its device experience (DX) institutional sector worldwide. This partnership is being recognized as one of the largest global contracts for OpenAI's ChatGPT Enterprise offering. The strategic move by Samsung Electronics indicates a broad commitment to integrating Generative AI capabilities across its extensive operations. The company plans to apply these AI technologies to critical functions such as research and development, manufacturing processes, marketing strategies, and various management support activities. The primary objective behind this widespread integration is to significantly boost productivity across the organization and drive innovation at an accelerated pace. Kim Kyung-hun, the head of OpenAI Korea, commented on the significance of this collaboration.
