Red Hat and Amazon Web Services (AWS) have outlined expanded capabilities within their joint hybrid cloud portfolio, focusing on the convergence of virtual machine modernization, distributed enterprise automation, and production AI deployments. The collaboration integrates Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS (ROSA) and Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization with AWS infrastructure and custom silicon (such as Inferentia and Trainium chipsets), enabling unified orchestration of traditional virtual machines (VMs) alongside containerized AI models and workloads under a single operating model.
