Infoblox IQ Unveiled for Agentic AI Operations in Hybrid, Multi-Cloud Environments

Infoblox has announced the release of Infoblox IQ, a significant advancement aimed at transforming network and security operations in today's intricate IT landscapes. This new agentic operations layer is built upon Infoblox's extensive foundation of authoritative network, security, and asset data, accumulated over more than two decades of managing mission-critical DNS, DHCP, and IP address management (DDI) environments for major global organizations. Infoblox IQ is designed to bring agentic AI capabilities to hybrid and multi-cloud networking, offering enterprises enhanced resilience and agility. The platform continuously analyzes a vast array of network data, including DNS queries, DHCP leases, IP address assignments, device activity, and security events. This continuous analysis enables teams to identify issues more rapidly, automate investigative processes, and take decisive action with increased confidence. A key component of this launch is the introduction of a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, which facilitates the integration of third-party AI systems with the Infoblox Platform through an open protocol. This approach simplifies the connection of diverse AI agents without requiring custom integrations, allowing organizations to leverage their existing AI investments more effectively. By incorporating operational knowledge gleaned from thousands of customer deployments, Infoblox IQ helps teams diagnose problems, prioritize necessary actions, and resolve issues more efficiently across their distributed hybrid enterprise environments.
