Sumsub lets AI agents build compliance setups

Sumsub, a prominent provider in the compliance technology sector, has unveiled a groundbreaking Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration, enabling artificial intelligence agents to autonomously establish and manage comprehensive compliance infrastructures. This new offering positions Sumsub as the first in its field to grant AI agents the capacity to configure an entire compliance environment from policy documents. The integration allows various leading AI models, such as Claude and ChatGPT, to ingest complex compliance policies and directly convert them into fully functional platform settings. Traditionally, the process of configuring a compliance platform, especially for intricate Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies involving country-specific risk brackets, weighted scoring tables, and conditional logic, demanded significant manual effort from technical teams. This often resulted in a time-consuming and labor-intensive setup. With Sumsub's new capabilities, an AI agent can now read such a policy document and instantly generate live platform settings, encompassing verification levels, risk questionnaires, and onboarding workflows, directly within the customer's dashboard. This dramatically accelerates a process that previously took days, completing it in mere minutes. The release introduces three primary functionalities. Firstly, teams can upload their AML policies or regulatory requirements and instruct an AI agent to configure their Sumsub environment accordingly. Secondly, AI agents can manage the technical aspects of integrating Sumsub into a client's application by generating the necessary code and embedding verification into the onboarding flow in real-time. Lastly, the system facilitates continuous compliance management, empowering agents to review applicants, conduct analytics, generate verification links, and adapt to evolving regulatory changes as they occur. Sumsub's existing product suite includes Summy, an AI copilot designed to assist compliance and fraud teams within the platform. The new MCP integration is designed to be model-agnostic, ensuring compatibility with any leading AI agent. To further support this ecosystem, Sumsub has made an open-source collection of agent skills available on GitHub, fostering broader adoption and development in the AI-driven compliance space.
